How can I naturally get rid of whitefly at my flower shop?

Whiteflies feed on the fungus that grows in over-damp soil and potting medium. They're unsightly, and we don't want them in our retail spaces, but they do not damage any plants. Let the plants dry well before the next watering. Good air circulation helps, as it causes the soil to dry faster than it would otherwise. If you have a place where you can set the plants out of your retail space for a day or two and get the staff to stop watering unless the plants are actually dry, the whiteflies will no longer be a problem. Have the staff in charge of watering put a finger in the soil of the plants which seem to be harboring the flies and see if the soil is wet. If so, do not water!

Mild solution of Washing up liquid with water spray all over.
Reply:Leave a shallow bowl of vinegar out.
Reply:MArigolds are supposed to repel them. I have filled the entrance to the greenhouse with them this year and had much less of a problem than normal.
Reply:Try a couple rounds of fly paper it's sold at stores like Wal-mart and Target ,and it won't do any harm to any of your plants.
