make it easy for guys to come in and buy something cheaper but very nice for their gfs wives moms sisters etc...maybe put something up that says every woman loves flowers
guys are always so easy to play when it comes to buying the woman in their lives stuff
maybe a basket under 10 and one under 20 then under 50

I agree with hot to trot..also you can attend wedding shows at the mall and have some centerpieces made up with price lists...also make a web page for your business...popular are the quinceaneras, sweet 16 and debutant balls....make a flyer that you can decorate for those kind of events....also advertise in free ads....also attend craft shows with some centerpieces and have business cards available...maybe once a month run a special like a dozen roses for $9.95 or something like that just to get the people in the door....have some kids pass out flyers to their friends at school for reasonably priced flowers for valentines day and keep in mind that kids work parttime and can't afford very much...I would have a variety of prices for everyones wallet....You may want to put something beautiful in the window to catch the eye or paint the building with a bright color....good luck
Reply:go to LOCAL business (your bank, real estate, etc), and ask them to buy some of your beautiful arrangements at a nice discount IF they will put your business card next to it.
Also, contact Realtors. EVERY open home needs flowers to make it look good. They should be buying from you every Sunday (or Sat. if you close on Sunday). Also be sure to build relationships with other like businesses (photographers, bakers, etc.).
Could you imagine if you walked into a good potential customer place and handed someone a single rose (with your biz card on it). Forget the Advertisements, let the product speak for itself. People dont NEED flowers, they WANT them, so you need to inspire that want. If you walked up the bank president (while making a deposit) and said "when was the last time you bought your wife flowers" and then said (whenever he says, cause you remind him women cant get enough flowers) "she's due... I'm gonna put you down for a dozen roses. I'll be here at 5pm for you to take them home. Just make that check out to...."
Remember you are not SELLING flowers, you are providing people the ability to share a beautiful thing. Be bold with that...every guy needs to be reminded to bring his wife flowers TODAY.

Reply:Go visit all the local funeral homes and tell them you'll give their families a good deal. Attend chamber of commerce functions and give out business cards. Give out coupons at the malls and laundromats and local businesses. Get a bigger yellow page ad.
Reply:Contact local companies and get a list to mail reminders for Secretaries day, valentines day etc. Let them know you can automatically send flowers out to specified clients our relatives and send them the invoice so they won't needn't worry about forgetting.
